    LONDON: The co-founder of British vogue model Superdry, James Holder, was sentenced to eight years in jail for rape on Thursday (Might 7) at a court docket in southwest England.

    A jury discovered Holder, 54, responsible final week of raping a girl in 2022 after assembly her in a bar in Cheltenham.

    Choose David Chidgey described the rape by the multimillionaire vogue boss as “a despicable piece of sexual violence”.

    “It was about your sense of entitlement and your sense of doing what you wished and your informal disregard for the sufferer’s absolute proper to say what she wished to do together with her personal physique,” Chidgey instructed Bristol Crown Courtroom.

    Holder was one of many co-founders of Superdry in 2003, however left the group in 2016.

    The streetwear model was delisted from the London Inventory Trade in 2024 after asserting a drop in gross sales and has rebranded as Superdry & Co.
