    Lebanon’s ambassador “relayed the end result of the discussions to President Aoun, who in flip communicated it to Hezbollah”, the assertion stated, including that negotiations on Tuesday and Wednesday “will proceed to debate this progress”.

    Trump stated on his Reality Social community on Monday that after a “very productive” name with Netanyahu, “there might be no Troops going to Beirut, and any Troops which are on their method, have already been turned again.”

    This week’s negotiations in Washington are the fourth spherical since April, when Lebanon and Israel, who don’t have any diplomatic relations, started landmark direct talks which Hezbollah strongly opposes.

    On Sunday, the senior US official had instructed AFP on situation of anonymity that to advance the talks, “the US proposed a transparent sequence: Hezbollah should cease all assaults on Israel. In return, Israel would chorus from escalation in Beirut”.
