    Sunday’s NTT IndyCar Collection Borchetta Bourbon Music Metropolis Grand Prix was postponed to Monday at 3 p.m. ET after inclement climate plagued the occasion all afternoon. 

    Rain pushed again the beginning of the race, which was scheduled to go inexperienced instantly following Fox’s protection of the World Cup Last. Whereas the skies over Lebanon, Tennessee, did finally clear and observe drying operations commenced, the skies opened again up shortly earlier than 9 p.m. ET, forcing IndyCar to postpone the race to Monday afternoon. 

    Race protection will nonetheless be on Fox and the IndyCar Radio Community at 3 p.m. ET on Monday.

    IndyCar race at Nashville postponed

    Kyle Kirkwood will begin on the pole for Monday’s 300-lap, 400-mile race, with defending Nashville winner Josef Newgarden becoming a member of him on the entrance row. Factors chief Alex Palou will begin fourth, with Kirkwood, who’s second within the standings and trails Palou by 56 factors, seeking to lower into his lead.
