President Donald Trump revealed that he plans to go to North Carolina within the upcoming days, noting that the state had been “deserted by the Democrats” within the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
Trump revealed to reporters that he could be visiting Los Angeles, California — which not too long ago confronted a number of harmful wildfires, and he would even be visiting North Carolina and Nevada.
“We’re going to handle Los Angeles, I’m going there — I’m going to North Carolina, which has been deserted by the Democrats,” Trump stated. “And, I’m going to North Carolina very importantly first, I’ll be there on Friday, after which I’m going from there to Los Angeles, after which I’m going to Nevada.”
Trump’s feedback come months after communities in western North Carolina similar to Asheville, the Village of Chimney Rock, and Swannanoa have been confronted with devastating flooding and destruction from Hurricane Helene.
