The detainees had been launched Friday and returned to the US following a gathering between Trump’s particular envoy Richard Grenell and President Nicolas Maduro, who referred to as for a “new starting” in ties with Washington.

The six males, who weren’t recognized, had been photographed smiling on a airplane alongside Grenell.

Grenell had traveled to Caracas to demand that Maduro’s authorities settle for the unconditional return of Venezuelans deported from the US or face penalties.

Trump has pledged to hold out the biggest deportation marketing campaign in US historical past, vowing to expel tens of millions of undocumented immigrants, many from Latin American nations.
