    PRAGUE: A 16-year-old boy killed two ladies in a knife assault in a store within the Czech Republic on Thursday (Feb 20) morning, police stated, including the motive was unclear.

    Police arrested {the teenager}, a Czech nationwide, minutes after the assault in a buying space on the outskirts of Hradec Kralove, round 100km east of Prague.

    “Each of these attacked suffered accidents which have been so severe that they may not be saved regardless of all efforts of the rescuers,” police stated on X.

    Czech media stated {the teenager} attacked a store assistant on the counter and one other employee in a service space of the shop.

    TV footage from the positioning confirmed police patrolling outdoors a reduction retailer.

    “We’re presently wanting into the attacker’s motives,” police stated on X.

    Prime Minister Petr Fiala expressed condolences to the households of the victims, calling the murders “an incomprehensible, horrendous act”.

    Terror assaults are uncommon within the Czech Republic, an EU and NATO member of 10.9 million individuals, however in 2023 a pupil killed 14 individuals and wounded 25 in a taking pictures rampage at a Prague college.

    The Czech Republic’s southern neighbour Austria is reeling from the homicide of a young person in a knife assault by a Syrian asylum seeker within the metropolis of Villach on the weekend.
