    Josh Stueve, the Senior Communications Advisor on the Division of Justice, resigned on Thursday, citing a “hostile and poisonous work atmosphere.”

    Stueve labored on this place on the Justice Division for 15 years and served as former Particular Counsel Robert Mueller’s spokesman.

    “Whereas the relentless assaults on federal staff have definitely taken their toll, I stay extremely happy with my 23 years in public service, together with almost a decade on energetic obligation within the US Marine Corps,” Stueve wrote.

    He continued, “Since 2010, I’ve served as a spokesman for businesses throughout the Division of Protection and the Division of Justice, and I’ve witnessed the extraordinary experience, patriotism, selflessness, and steadfast dedication to mission of public servants all through the federal service.”

    Josh Stueve stated the Trump’s election win didn’t affect his determination to resign earlier than he blasted the management of the DOJ.

    “I can not proceed to serve in such a hostile and poisonous work atmosphere, one the place management on the highest ranges makes clear we’re not welcomed or valued, a lot much less trusted to do our jobs,” Josh Stueve wrote in his resignation letter.
