    The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Help on Catastrophe Administration (AHA Centre) has launched a coordinated worldwide aid operation in Myanmar, in line with the New Straits Occasions. 

    A delegation from the AHA Centre, led by government director Lee Yam Ming and director of operations Sithu Pe Thein, arrived in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday night to collaborate with Myanmar’s Division of Catastrophe Administration in supporting regional response efforts.

    The AHA Centre can be coordinating with different ASEAN nations within the aid operations.

    It’s mobilising ASEAN Emergency Response and Evaluation Crew members from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam to help with on-the-ground operations.

    Anwar mentioned cooperation and collective motion amongst ASEAN nations are essential in addressing humanitarian crises like this.

    Malaysia will proceed discussions with ASEAN companions to coordinate help for Myanmar and guarantee significant affect for these affected, he mentioned, as quoted by the Malay Mail.

    Singapore’s Civil Defence Drive’s Operations Lionheart contingent, comprising 80 personnel specialising in logistics, medical, search and rescue, together with 4 canines, has additionally arrived in Myanmar to start city search and rescue (USAR) operations, in line with a scenario replace report from the Centre.
