    “ENFORCE” TRUCE

    Hezbollah started firing rockets at Israel on Oct 8, 2023, in help of its ally Hamas following the Palestinian group’s unprecedented assault on southern Israel that sparked the war in Gaza.

    In September final 12 months, Israel dramatically scaled up its marketing campaign towards Hezbollah, closely bombing the group’s strongholds in south and east Lebanon and Beirut’s southern suburbs, and later sending in floor troops.

    Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem on Saturday condemned the resumption of Israeli strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs.

    “This aggression should finish. We can’t enable this to proceed,” Qassem stated in a televised tackle.

    Israel’s army stated on Friday that two “projectiles” had been fired in the direction of Israel, with one intercepted and the opposite falling inside Lebanon.

    It was the second time rockets had been launched at Israel from Lebanon for the reason that ceasefire, after an earlier incident on Mar 22.

    Hezbollah denied involvement on each events.

    Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has stated Lebanon’s “authorities bears direct duty for any fireplace towards the Galilee” and if it doesn’t implement the ceasefire, Israel “will implement it”.

    Lebanon’s army afterward Friday stated it had recognized the location of the rocket launch, simply north of the Litani River.

    On Sunday Lebanon’s Basic Safety company stated it had arrested a number of suspects.
