    Re: “Seattle council considers 8-foot-tall digital billboards in downtown” (Might 9, Native Information):

    The proposal earlier than the Seattle Metropolis Council to contract for as much as 80 kiosks with flashing screens is an abomination. These 8-foot totems will dominate their environments with visible air pollution, commodifying what we’re pressured to see. They’re nothing greater than street-level billboards that haven’t any place within the vistas of our pretty metropolis.

    The council ought to reject this one. There isn’t any profit that may outweigh the visible harm to our city scene.
