Re: “Seattle council considers 8-foot-tall digital billboards in downtown” (Might 9, Native Information)

Flashing billboards are a distraction to drivers and unpleasant. For my part, Seattle shouldn’t appear to be Las Vegas.

If the aim is to impress guests, e.g. in the course of the World Cup 2026, I believe the cash for the billboards may very well be higher spent by cleansing up the graffiti that mars virtually each freeway and lots of buildings, particularly by means of downtown, the place many of the guests shall be staying.
