    BEIJING: China condemns Israel’s violations of Iran’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity and urges Israel to instantly cease all dangerous army actions, China’s United Nations Ambassador Fu Cong stated, state media Xinhua Information Company reported.

    “China opposes the intensification of contradictions and the enlargement of conflicts, and is deeply involved in regards to the penalties that could be caused by Israel’s actions,” Fu was quoted as saying at a gathering held by the UN Safety Council on the Center East state of affairs on Friday (Jun 13).

    China is significantly involved in regards to the damaging impression of the present developments on diplomatic negotiations on the Iranian nuclear problem, stated Fu.

    Israel launched large-scale strikes towards Iran early on Friday, saying it was the beginning of a protracted operation to stop Tehran from constructing an atomic weapon.

    Iran launched retaliatory airstrikes on Friday night, with explosions heard in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, Israel’s two largest cities.

    China has issued advisories to its residents in Israel and Iran on the “complicated and extreme” safety state of affairs in these nations, including a warning to these in Israel to arrange for doable missile and drone assaults.
