    NEWARK: Mahmoud Khalil vowed to renew his pro-Palestinian activism as he returned to New York a day after he was launched on bail from a jail for immigrants, whilst US President Donald Trump’s administration mentioned it would proceed its efforts to deport the latest Columbia College graduate.

    He arrived at Newark Liberty Worldwide Airport in New Jersey on Saturday afternoon to cheers and ululations from associates and supporters. Khalil, 30, was reunited along with his spouse, a US citizen, and greeted on the airport by US Consultant Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat from New York.
