    DUBAI: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei attended a non secular occasion on Saturday (Jul 5), in line with a video carried by state tv, after experiences that he was in a “safe location” because the begin of a 12-day air conflict with Israel during which prime Iranian commanders and nuclear scientists have been killed.

    The video carried by state media confirmed dozens attending a ceremony to mark Ashura, the holiest day of the Shi’ite Muslim calendar, standing chanting as Khamenei entered a corridor the place many authorities features are held.

    For obvious safety causes, Khamenei had issued pre-taped messages through the conflict which began on June 13, and prevented public appearances.

    On Jun 26, in pre-recorded remarks aired on state tv, Khamenei promised that Iran wouldn’t give up regardless of US President Donald Trump’s calls.
