    For the second time in three years, Shane van Gisbergen conquered the Chicago Road Race. 

    After successful Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Collection race, van Gisbergen on Sunday earned his second win of 2025 and the third of his Cup Collection profession. 

    A warning on the race’s last lap allowed van Gisbergen to cruise round and obtain the checkered flag underneath warning flag circumstances. 

    “Yeah, I really like this place,” van Gisbergen advised TNT Sports activities. “What an incredible weekend for me. I am a fortunate man to drive some nice vehicles. We simply appeared to get it proper.”

    Van Gisbergen led 26 laps, the second-most of the day behind Michael McDowell’s 31, after ranging from the pole. 

    Tyler Reddick and Alex Bowman each made exhausting prices by means of the sector within the closing laps, however Reddick’s march was impeded by a battle with Ty Gibbs. In the meantime, a feud between Bowman and Bubba Wallace impeded Bowman’s progress and resulted in Wallace spinning. 

    Gibbs, Reddick, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch rounded out the highest 5, with AJ Allmendinger, Ryan Preece, Bowman, Austin Hill and Ross Chastain finishing the highest 10. 

    Different notable finishers embody defending Cup Collection champion Joey Logano in eleventh, Kyle Larson in thirteenth, Chase Elliott in sixteenth, Katherine Legge in nineteenth and Wallace in twenty eighth. 

    McDowell began second and gained Stage 1, however throttle points relegated him to a disappointing Thirty second-place end.
