To the story “UW study: ICE hasn’t sanctioned state facility over abuses” (July 18, A1), I’d add, “neither is it seemingly to take action.”

The well being and questions of safety on the Northwest ICE Processing Heart in Tacoma, which is run by a non-public firm, GEO Group, have been identified for years.

GEO is a global firm on the New York Inventory Trade and the abuses taking place in Tacoma are widespread to all GEO detention facilities.
