The 2025 Baseball Corridor of Fame class had its day in Cooperstown on Sunday.

This yr’s class included Ichiro Suzuki, CC Sabathia and Billy Wagner, who have been elected by the eligible voters from the Baseball Author’s Affiliation of America, and Dave Parker and Dick Allen, who have been elected by the Traditional Baseball Period Committee.

Listed here are a few of the high highlights from Sunday’s induction speeches.

Dave Parker’s son reads poem written by Corridor of Fame father

Parker’s induction into the Corridor of Fame was lengthy overdue, and he sadly didn’t have the chance to benefit from the second of seeing his title within the Corridor of Fame as he died June 28. That left his speech within the fingers of his son, Dave Parker II, who learn a poem written by his dad.
