    BEIJING: China’s coast guard held a Nationwide Day flag-raising ceremony on a ship within the waters off the disputed Scarborough Shoal, vowing to “stand guard” over the atoll, a significant flashpoint for diplomatic flare-ups and maritime clashes with the Philippines.
