    WASHINGTON: The top of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated on Saturday (Oct 11) he visited Gaza to debate post-conflict stabilisation and insisted no US troops can be deployed to the Palestinian territory.

    Admiral Brad Cooper wrote on X that he simply returned from a visit to Gaza to debate the creation of a CENTCOM-led “civil-military coordination centre” which is able to “help battle stabilisation”.

    An preliminary deployment of 200 US troops is about to reach in Israel to assist monitor the ceasefire in Gaza between Hamas and Israel beneath President Donald Trump’s peace plan.

    The US army will coordinate a multinational taskforce which is able to deploy in Gaza and is more likely to embrace troops from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

    “America’s little kids in uniform are answering the decision to ship peace within the Center East in help of the Commander in Chief’s route on this historic second,” Cooper wrote on X.

    “This nice effort can be achieved with no US boots on the bottom in Gaza,” Cooper wrote.

    Cooper was appointed in early August to guide CENTCOM, the US army command answerable for the Center East.
