    LONDON: Britain’s authorities vehemently denied on Monday (Oct 13) that it helped scupper a high-profile case involving two males accused of spying for China, because it comes beneath stress over its stance in direction of Beijing.

    Costs towards Christopher Money, 30, and Christopher Berry, 33, have been dropped final month, two years after they have been arrested on allegations of accumulating data which may very well be “helpful to an enemy”.

    Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s authorities covets Chinese language funding to spur a struggling economic system and is pondering a request from Beijing to construct a controversial new embassy building in London.
