Re: “ ‘No Kings’ rally draws crowd over a mile long” (Oct. 19, A1):

President Donald Trump believes in onshoring manufacturing, management of unlawful immigration, reducing authorities spending, extrajudicial prevention of drug-trafficking, conventional regulation and order in our cities, defederalization of Ok-12 schooling and a race-blind society. It’s cheap to disagree with any of those positions and his political strategies. However he’s making an attempt to unravel issues, and calling him names and carrying humorous hats isn’t as efficient a technique as arising with another set of options.

When he units again Tehran’s nuclear weapons program or negotiates a peace settlement in Gaza, single-minded, small-minded opposition to all issues Trump suggests Democrats worth private contempt over the legit safety pursuits of the US and the ending of human struggling. Even the “No Kings” moniker alerts a break from actuality, since he was duly elected, has ceded energy as soon as and is time period restricted.

Till the Democrats embrace the pursuits of the American folks and actuality, they’ll stay the minority opposition, holding parades within the chilly rain.
