    KUALA LUMPUR: High Chinese language and US financial officers agreed on the framework for a commerce settlement on Sunday (Oct 26) as US President Donald Trump mentioned he was assured of hashing out a cope with Chinese language President Xi Jinping once they meet within the coming days.

    US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Commerce Consultant Jamieson Greer met with Chinese language Vice Premier He Lifeng and high commerce negotiator Li Chenggang on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit in Kuala Lumpur for a fifth spherical of in-person discussions since Could.
