    GENEVA: The United Nations stated on Tuesday (Nov 4) it had distributed meals parcels to 1 million individuals in Gaza because the ceasefire, however warned it was nonetheless in a race to avoid wasting lives.

    The UN’s World Meals Programme harassed all crossing factors into the Gaza Strip needs to be opened to flood the famine-hit Palestinian territory with assist, including that no motive was given why the northern crossings with Israel remained closed.

    “Three and a half weeks into the ceasefire in Gaza, we now have distributed meals parcels to round 1 million individuals throughout the Gaza Strip,” stated the WFP’s Center East spokeswoman Abeer Etefa.

    WFP goals to achieve 1.6 million individuals within the territory with parcels, which offer sufficient meals for a household for 10 days.
