Following the Arizona Cardinals‘ huge win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday evening, head coach Jonathan Gannon insisted his crew didn’t have a quarterback controversy relating to Kyler Murray and Jacoby Brissett. He might have been telling the reality. And evidently Brissett goes to be his quarterback of selection. At the very least within the close to future.

Cardinals announce Jacoby Brissett will begin this week

Gannon introduced on Tuesday that Brissett will begin Sunday’s Week 10 sport towards the Seattle Seahawks, sticking with the quarterback that has helped jumpstart the Cardinals’ offense in latest weeks.

Murray has not performed for the Cardinals since Oct. 5 as a result of a foot harm, and based on ESPN’s Adam Schefter it is likely to be worse than initially feared.

Schefter reported on Tuesday that the Cardinals have consulted with multiple doctors that have provided timetables of 4 to eight weeks for his restoration with the potential for a setback if he tries to hurry it again.

Whereas that might appear to be the motivation for beginning Brissett, Gannon additionally mentioned on Tuesday that he would have made the choice to stay with him no matter Murray’s well being or standing.

That signifies there’s a vital change underway for the Cardinals at an important place, and that the harm may simply be a means of justifying their determination.
