    Re: “How many lives is Gas Works Park structure worth?” (Nov. 10, Opinion):

    I agree the variety of deaths attributable to falling from the construction is a tragedy. However I don’t agree that stripping off all the steps and ladders is the one resolution. The weak point is the ugly, dilapidated chain-link fence enclosure.

    Why not exchange it with a giant, stunning, impenetrable wall? Depart the historic construction alone. Let’s have a name for artists. An artwork wall may make it protected and wonderful.
