    Japan’s Overseas Ministry didn’t instantly reply on Sunday to a request for touch upon Wang’s remarks. In response to the letter to the UN, the ministry on Saturday dismissed China’s claims as “completely unacceptable” and stated Japan’s dedication to peace was unchanged.

    Taiwan’s Overseas Ministry on Sunday condemned the letter to the UN.
