The article “Seattle-area holiday lights in 2025: Where to find 6 fun outings” (Dec. 2, Leisure) consists of two captivity-industry venues, Woodland Park Zoo and Level Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. Each confine wild animals — whether or not captive-bred or captured — who retain their wild instincts. They endure when disadvantaged of the area, autonomy and sophisticated environments they want.

Whereas these gentle shows are festive for guests, supporting them helps the struggling of untamed animals. The opposite listed locations supply all of the enjoyable — with out the cruelty.
