    Re: “Trump ventures deeper into anti-immigrant language by calling people from Somalia ‘garbage’ ” (Dec. 4, Nation):

    My grandparents weren’t rubbish and neither are Somalis or any immigrants.

    My Kostecka grandparents have been poor serfs who got here from Czarist Russia. They weren’t rubbish.

    My Rizzuto grandfather got here from southern Italy as a result of he was ravenous. He was not rubbish.

    For a president to name Somali immigrants rubbish and to have cupboard members applaud is embarrassing. How a lot decrease can this administration go?
