    The footage of the bystander’s actions unfold rapidly on social media as individuals praised the person for his bravery, saying his actions had probably saved many lives. His identification was not instantly recognized.

    “Australian hero (random civilian) wrestles gun off attacker and disarms him. Some persons are courageous after which some persons are … no matter that is,” one particular person mentioned on the X platform, sharing the video.

    “This Australian man saved numerous lives by stripping the gun off one of many terrorists at Bondi seashore. HERO,” one other mentioned.

    Chris Minns, the premier of New South Wales state, the place Sydney is positioned, mentioned it was the “most unbelievable scene I’ve ever seen”.
