1,200 VICTIMS AND RELATIVES, AND 254 MASSEUSES

Deputy Lawyer Basic Todd Blanche advised Congress in a letter that the division had recognized greater than 1,200 victims of Epstein and their relations throughout an “exhaustive overview” of the paperwork.

One doc was Epstein’s masseuse record, which contained 254 names. All of the names have been redacted.

Blanche stated the paperwork launched on Friday included FBI recordsdata from its 2018 and 2006 investigations of Epstein and its investigation of his 2019 loss of life, amongst different supplies.

    HEAVY REDACTIONS, DEMOCRATS CRY FOUL

Lots of the paperwork launched by ‌the Justice Division have been closely redacted. One of many redacted recordsdata, a 119-page doc that appeared to include grand jury testimony, was solely blacked out. Three extra paperwork of 100 pages every have been completely redacted.

Some Democrats decried the Justice Division’s failure to launch the entire Epstein recordsdata by the deadline set by a regulation handed by Congress in November and signed by President Trump.

Adam Schiff, a Democratic senator, referred to as on Lawyer Basic Pam Bondi to look earlier than Congress and clarify why all of the recordsdata had not been launched.

Chuck Schumer, the senior Senate Democrat, stated in an announcement, “this set of closely redacted paperwork launched by the Division of Justice at this time is only a fraction of the entire physique of proof”.

Thomas Massie, a Home Republican who was a number one sponsor of the Epstein doc launch regulation, stated on X that Friday’s partial launch “fails to adjust to each the spirit and the letter of the regulation” that Trump signed.

Trump and his Justice Division seemingly will face extra criticism within the coming days for the paucity of Friday’s launch and the truth that Trump ‌is barely talked about, whereas Clinton is. Finally, it’s seemingly that ‌Trump has not but put the Epstein controversy behind him.
