    CARACAS: President Nicolas Maduro on Thursday (Jan 1) dodged a query about an alleged US assault on a dock in Venezuela however mentioned he was open to cooperation with Washington after weeks of American army stress.

    “Wherever they need and at any time when they need,” Maduro mentioned of the thought of dialogue with the US on drug trafficking, oil and migration in an interview on state TV.

    Maduro’s authorities has neither confirmed nor denied what President Donald Trump introduced on Monday: a US assault on a docking facility that served Venezuelan drug trafficking boats.

    Requested point-blank if he confirmed or denied the assault, Maduro mentioned Thursday “this might be one thing we discuss in a number of days”.

    Colombian President Gustavo Petro fueled rumours concerning the location of the assault, saying “Trump bombed a manufacturing facility in Maracaibo” the place “they combine coca paste to make cocaine.”

    Primazol chief Carlos Eduardo Siu denied these rumours, saying “President Petro, not right here – we neither package deal nor manufacture any type of narcotics.”
