The Southern Transitional Council (STC) Secretary-Basic Abdulrahman Al-Subaihi stated in a broadcast on Yemeni tv on Friday that the dissolution of the group was taken to protect peace and safety within the south and in neighbouring nations.
He praised “the measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the options it has offered that meet the wants of the individuals of the South”.
Nevertheless, there was no instant remark from these members of the separatist group who will not be collaborating within the talks in Riyadh.
