Regardless of a myriad of accidents, the Green Bay Packers have been dominating the Chicago Bears to start out their wild-card sport on Saturday.

Jordan Love was wheeling and dealing, the protection was getting stops and the desk was set for a straightforward Packers win. Then, head coach Matt LaFleur went away from what labored, took the foot off the gasoline and left the door broad open for a Bears comeback. That is why, following the loss, the Packers head coach took the blame for the way issues went down.

Matt LaFleur says he is “upset and humbled”

“That is the best group on this planet, in my view, and it’s extremely humbling. I am definitely upset proper now. I am upset principally for—effectively, not principally,” LaFleur said, per NFL Community’s Ian Rapoport. “I am upset for everyone that is related to the Inexperienced Bay Packers. I am upset for our locker room, upset for our followers, our management. Everybody concerned with the Inexperienced Bay Packers proper now.”

In fact, kicker Brandon McManus missed two area objectives and one PAT in a four-point loss, so it isn’t like all of the blame is on LaFleur. However, this has been the story of the staff since he took the reins.

As nice a play designer as he’s, LaFleur tends to get approach too conservative when he is up, failing to reach offensive effectivity for all 4 quarters. It isn’t that the Packers could not lose that sport, particularly with so many key gamers out. They simply could not lose it that approach, not after being up 21-3 at halftime.
