Tom Homan, Trump’s Border Czar, has been talking from Minnesota, the place he was despatched to switch in wake of two killings of US residents by immigration enforcement officers.

Homan was despatched by Trump to switch Greg Bovino, the highest border patrol official despatched to the state as a part of a large enforcement operation that has sparked widespread protests.

On January 7, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent fatally shot Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. Final week, border patrol brokers fatally shot Alex Pretti.

“I’m staying till the issue’s gone,” Homan instructed reporters on Thursday.
