    Regardless of having a quiet offseason, the San Francisco Giants have made strikes to higher their roster, with the newest being signing Luis Arraez to a one-year contract ($12 million) to be their second baseman. 

    The Giants have been in a rut for the previous few seasons, ending round .500 since 2022, and haven’t had a successful season since 2021 (107-55).
