The New York Giants‘ major focus in 2026 needs to be placing quarterback Jaxson Dart ready to soar. Does their newest rent try this?

On Tuesday, the Giants employed former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy for a similar position. That information could make members of the fan base squirm.

Why hiring Matt Nagy will not be a preferred transfer amongst Giants followers

Nagy’s teaching fame has taken a success after a failed stint as a Chicago Bears head coach and a disappointing second tenure with the Chiefs.

The Bears employed Nagy as HC in 2018. His first season went nice. He received the 2018 Coach of the 12 months award after guiding Chicago to a 12-4 report and making the playoffs. The remainder of his tenure with the NFC North membership was a lot much less profitable.

The coach went 22-27 in his remaining 49 video games with the group. QB Mitch Trubisky, the second decide of the 2017 NFL Draft, didn’t develop right into a franchise staple beneath Nagy, ending with a below-average 87.2 passer ranking in 4 seasons with the Bears.
