The US embassy in Poland says it’s breaking off contact with the nation’s parliamentary speaker over what it calls “outrageous” insults directed at President Donald Trump.
US Ambassador to Poland Tom Rose mentioned on Thursday that the choice to finish all dealings with Wlodzimierz Czarzasty would take impact “instantly”.
This week, Czarzasty mentioned Trump doesn’t deserve the Nobel Peace Prize he has long sought and slammed the US president’s “coverage of pressure” in worldwide affairs. He pointed to Trump’s tariffs on European nations, threats to seize Greenland and claims that NATO allies had stayed off the front lines through the conflict in Afghanistan.
“It is a breach of the politics of ideas and values, usually a breach of worldwide legislation,” Czarzasty informed reporters.
Rose mentioned Czarzasty’s feedback have been “outrageous and unprovoked” and undermined in any other case robust US-Polish ties.
