As we enter the fourth 12 months of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, we should do not forget that Ukraine’s future nonetheless issues. How this struggle ends issues. If Russia is rewarded, the combating will pause solely till Moscow has time to rearm.

Strolling away from Ukraine wouldn’t convey peace. It might embolden authoritarian regimes like Russia, China and Iran, whereas making the world extra harmful for America and our allies. Supporting Ukraine helps deter future wars and prevents American troops from being drawn into bigger conflicts. This can be a good funding in U.S. safety and international stability.
