    Boxer/social media influencer Jake Paul often overshadows his fiancée, Jutta Leerdam. Nonetheless, the highlight shifted to the Dutch velocity skater on the Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina. 

    On Monday, Leerdam competed within the girls’s 1,000 meters in opposition to Miho Takagi of Japan, the 2022 Olympic champion. The Dutchwoman completed second behind Takagi on the Beijing Video games 4 years in the past. This time, she bested her rival.

    Leerdam received the gold medal and set an Olympic file (1 minute 12.31 seconds). This got here two heats after Dutch teammate Femke Kok set the earlier Winter Video games file (1:12.59). 

    Paul attended Monday’s occasion, sitting within the second row. After the race, Leerdam blew kisses to him as tears ran down her face, smudging her make-up.
