    Rob Thomson is providing a public response this week to Nick Castellanos’ bombshell revelation.

    The Philadelphia Phillies formally parted ways with their veteran outfielder Castellanos on Thursday by releasing him from their roster. In response to the information, Castellanos issued a message of gratitude to the Phillies … and in addition within the course of made the gorgeous revelation that he introduced alcohol into the dugout throughout a sport in June.

    Castellanos was upset with the Phillies and their longtime supervisor Thomson after being faraway from a sport in opposition to the Miami Marlins. In what later turned often called the “Miami Incident,” Castellanos brought a bottle of Presidente beer into the team’s dugout.

    Talking with reporters on Friday, Thomson reacted to Castellanos’ revelation.

    “I’m happy with him as a result of he owned as much as what he did and, hey, all of us make errors,” Thomson stated of Castellanos, per ESPN. “Nick had helped us out in a number of methods right here. He’s had some massive hits and massive performs and helped us win rather a lot ballgames. So I do, I want him all the perfect.”

    The 33-year-old Castellanos was an All-Star with the Phillies in 2023 in addition to a pivotal member of their 2022 NL Pennant-winning workforce. However he was a unfavourable WAR participant final 12 months, batting .250 with 17 house runs and 72 RBIs over 147 complete video games.
