    LONDON: Manchester police stated on Thursday (Feb 26) that they had arrested a second suspect after a person allegedly armed with an axe entered a mosque within the northwest English metropolis throughout Ramadan prayers earlier this week.

    Larger Manchester Police (GMP) first responded to reviews late on Tuesday of two males getting into the town’s Central Mosque carrying “offensive weapons”.

    No threats have been made and there have been no reported accidents, in response to the power.

    Nonetheless, officers who responded to the scene searched one of many suspects and arrested him after seizing weapons, together with an axe and a knife, and unspecified medicine.

    The white man in his 50s, who police stated was sporting a high-viz jacket and had claimed to be there to do work on the constructing, was arrested on suspicion of carrying an offensive weapon and possession of medication.

    The second suspect sought, a person in his 20s, was arrested on Thursday morning on suspicion of conspiracy to commit assault, the power stated in an replace.
