DOHA: Qatar’s air drive shot down two plane inbound from Iran on Monday (Mar 3), Doha’s defence ministry mentioned in an announcement after the Islamic republic earlier focused gasoline services within the Gulf state.

“Qatar Emiri Air Drive efficiently shot down two (SU24) plane coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran. In addition they efficiently intercepted seven ballistic missiles by air defences, and intercepted 5 drones by Qatar Emiri Air Drive and Qatar Emiri Navy Forces, which focused a number of areas within the state at this time,” the defence ministry mentioned.

It didn’t elaborate on the destiny of the Sukhoi SU24 bombers’ pilots.

It was the primary time a Gulf nation has engaged a manned Iranian plane after three days of bombardment, and comes after Qatar’s state-run power agency mentioned it had halted liquefied pure gasoline (LNG) manufacturing following assaults on two of its most important gasoline processing services.
