Re: “To sit or stand: Trump’s challenge to Democrats a key moment in State of the Union address” (Feb. 25, Nation):
President Donald Trump scolded Democrats for not standing in the course of the State of the Union deal with when he stated, “The primary responsibility of the American authorities is to guard Americans. Not unlawful aliens.”
Democrats must defend their place, and it goes like this: The responsibility of the federal government is to uphold the regulation. Properties can’t be searched with out a warrant, and other people can’t be snatched off the road by unidentified masked brokers for having exercised free speech, whether or not they’re residents or not. The inscription on the Supreme Courtroom constructing says, “Equal Justice Underneath Legislation.”
