All of us need elections which are free, truthful, correct and accessible to all voters. The liberty to vote is key and nonnegotiable.
The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, and others prefer it, are assaults on our democracy, our means to vote.
It places voting out of attain or troublesome for residents — beginning with girls, individuals of shade, younger individuals, older individuals and immigrants.
The SAVE America Act is not about election safety. The documentary proof of citizenship requirement is unlawful, discriminatory and pointless, as present regulation already mandates that solely residents could vote in state and federal elections. This act would:
• Successfully finish on-line voter registration
• Remove third-party voter registration drives carried out by nonprofits
• Place substantial new burdens on state/ native election officers
• Disproportionately impression eligible residents who lack prepared entry to documentation/transportation
