BBC Chair Apologizes After Bias Accusations

The chair of the BBC board, Samir Shah, apologized on Monday after two high executives resigned over claims of deceptive enhancing of a speech by President Trump.

“The apologizing is for the way in which the group edited President Trump’s speech to his supporters on Jan. 6. In hindsight, we may have, we should always have acted earlier and brought a extra formal place on it, which we’ve performed extra lately.” “Is there institutional bias on the BBC?” “There is no such thing as a institutional bias. Errors are made, however there’s no institutional bias.” “However why weren’t the errors handled on Trump, on antisemitism, on ladies’s rights?” “I’m positive that story will emerge. However for now, I’m going to go —” “Do you suppose the board acted in opposition to you?”
