Re: “Seafair: End Blue Angels shows” (July 29, Northwest Voices):
Good grief! Seattle celebrates its maritime, flight and boating heritage just a few days of the yr and a small vocal group protests. Properly then, transfer to a metropolis that higher suits your beliefs.
The overwhelming majority of us in Seattle and surrounding cities take pleasure in celebrating the pomp and ceremony of Seafair full with visits from Navy ships, parades, roaring hydroplanes, and, sure, the fun of experiencing the Blue Angels over Lake Washington. To my thoughts, it’s “power” effectively spent. Loosen up!
