    For the second straight week, a first-time NASCAR Cup Sequence pole winner will lead the sector to the inexperienced flag. 

    Every week after Zane Smith earned his first profession Cup Sequence pole at Talladega, Carson Hocevar — who was quickest in Saturday’s practice session — received the pole for the Wurth 400 at Texas with a lap of 28.174 seconds. 

    It is the primary pole for Hocevar in his 56th Cup Sequence qualifying session.

    Per Prime Video as relayed by The Athletic’s Jeff Gluck, Hocevar, 22, is the youngest Cup Sequence pole winner within the historical past of Texas Motor Speedway.
