    Chargers star Khalil Mack hints at retirement

    Los Angeles Chargers star pass-rusher Khalil Mack could also be headed for retirement after a loss to the Houston Texans 32-12 within the wild-card sport on Saturday.

    Earlier than the 33-year-old makes any resolution, he stated he’ll speak to his spouse and focus on his future.

    “Man, it’s plenty of completely different ideas in my head proper now,” Mack told reporters via ESPN on Sunday. “I can’t actually communicate on a definitive resolution when it comes to what I’m going to do as a result of I don’t know if I’m going to play soccer shifting ahead, so there’s some issues I obtained to speak by means of with my spouse, spend a while with my youngsters and check out to not make a rash resolution after a loss.”

    Mack appeared in his fifth NFL playoff sport and is now 0-5. 

    He first appeared within the playoffs when he was a member of then-Oakland Raiders in 2016. The Raiders misplaced that sport — towards the Houston Texans — with out Derek Carr, who suffered a season-ending damage (damaged fibula) towards the Indianapolis Colts when the Raiders have been 12-3.

    He misplaced his different playoff appearances when he was with the Chicago Bears and now the Chargers.

    Mack hoped this could be the one that may give him his first playoff victory behind Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and security Derwin James Jr.

    That wasn’t the case and Mack will determine on his future. He’s set to be an unrestricted free agent.

    “I can’t make this example about myself, man, although selfishly you’re feeling like, ‘Rattling,’ you understand what I’m saying?” Mack stated. “‘This was the one.”
