    Re: “Affordable child care needed, many agree” (July 10, Northwest):

    The present administration, in its concern over the low birthrate, is contemplating a $1,000 funding for every little one born. But the lately handed price range invoice cuts funding for Deliberate Parenthood, hospitals and well being take care of tens of millions. It completely overlooks the necessity for and value of kid care. And time will inform how faculties are impacted by that invoice.

    Till wants of childbearing and little one rearing are attended to, there are few incentives to extend a household. The $1,000 funding could be higher spent investing in well being care so girls can carry and ship a baby safely.
