The Senate on Friday evening will vote on whether or not to substantiate President Trump’s Secretary of Protection nominee Pete Hegseth after Senators voted on Thursday 51-49 to invoke cloture and break the filibuster.
Two poisonous RINO Senators, Lisa Murkowski (AK) and Susan Collins (ME) voted against advancing Hegseth’s nomination to a remaining flooring vote.
On Wednesday, Fox Information’ Chad Pergram reported that GOP Senators Murkowski, Collins and Mitch McConnell could all vote in opposition to Hegseth within the remaining flooring vote.
Nevertheless, on Friday night, The Wall Street Journal reported that Senator Thom Tillis (NC) who beforehand stated he would vote ‘sure’ on confirming Hegseth, was nonetheless undecided. A ‘no’ vote from Tillis might sink Hegseth’s nomination if McConnell, Murkowski and Collins all vote no.
